Lynsey MacKenzie approaches painting by combining ways of working; from memory and observations of her surroundings, to working intuitively, responding to marks and colours. MacKenzie graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 2019 with a first class BA (Hons) in Painting & Printmaking. She was selected for New Contemporaries at the Royal Scottish Academy, and recent awards include the Wilhelmina Barns-Graham Award, the RSA Latimer Award, and the WASPS Award. She has work in both private and public collections.
