The artist - From closed to open to closed, a book naturally comes full circle. There is a spontaneity and random excitement to creating images with resist, oil paint and a knife. The initial images are halved and rearranged into a sculptural, double-sided concertina book, a format ideal for display. Some circles are halved, a few remain full, but the initial images themselves have come full circle when reconfigured as a book.
