Graham Fagen RSA

Graham Fagen RSA is one of Scotland's most internationally-renowned artists. 

 

Fagen has represented Scotland in both solo and group exhibitions in the most prestigious of locations, both in Britain and abroad, ranging from the Gallery of Modern Art, Glasgow; Tramway, Glasgow; the National Galleries of Scotland; the Henry Moore Institute, Leeds; the Imperial War Museum, London; the V&A, London; the Tate, London; Matt's Gallery, London; Museum Voorlinden, Netherlands; Centro Cultural Kunsthalle Andrax, Mallorca; the Metropolitan Art Museum, Busan, South Korea; the Hessisches Landesmuseum, Darmstadt, Germany; and the Venice Biennale.

 

He lives and works in Glasgow and is Professor at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, Dundee, having previously held postions at Glasgow School of Art; Perpignan School of Art; St Martins School of Art, London; and Kent Institute of Art and Design, Canterbury.

 

Fagan was commissioned by the Imperial War Museum to represent Britain as the official war artist for the conflict in Kosovo. He has work in public collections that range from the Arts Council Collection, Hayward Gallery, London; Imperial War Museum, London; Tate, London; Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds; Museum Voorlinden, Netherlands; Gallery of Modern Art Glasgow; City of Edinburgh Collection; Ayrshire Museums; Dundee Museums; the National Galleries of Scotland and the Fleming Collection, London.
