Mary Bourne RSA and Lynne Strachan

Mary Bourne RSA's work explores mankind’s emotional, intellectual and physical relationships with the world we live in. Based in rural Moray in the North East of Scotland, Bourne works principally in natural stone, using a variety of techniques (carving, sandblasting, heat and polishing) to find subtle physical forms for poetic ideas.

Her practice encompasses commissioned and exhibited work, as well as collaborative projects for public places.
