The artist - I am a visual artist and trained art psychotherapist, currently in the final year of my MA at City & Guilds of London Art School. Through my work, I explore the absurd in life and the inherent need to find meaning in human relationships and our interactions with nature.
In this painting, I delve into the nuanced interplay between emotion and perception, using watercolours as my medium. The portrait's seemingly sarcastic gaze invites the viewer to confront the absurdity of resentment. This work is an invitation to engage in a dialogue that oscillates between humour and empathy, illuminating the complexities of our shared human experience.
