Felix Wilson

Felix Wilson is an architectural assistant who understands his developing architectural and visual practice as a simultaneously cultural, technological and curatorial act. He is interested in work that rigorously and ethically investigates situation, environment, perception; this born from his love of being immersed in landscapes.

The print, ''Coniferous Plantation, Glentress, Scottish Borders'' explores a managed forest through the filigree medium of a wire-frame drawing. The work draws attention to both the qualitative, somewhat untouchable, qualities of woodlands and the logical, quantitative aspects of managed monoculture forestry.
