An Open Riddle of Industry is from a series of collage works that began during a residency in the Cornelius Foundation in the South of France that used locally sourced material.

We have made a number of works using sheet music and magazines in this case Paris Match from the sixties.  Cutting out the images we became interested in the remaining structure of the centrefold which appeared to us to bridge imagery one might associate with both sculpture and architecture.
