Kate Whiteford RSA

Kate Whiteford was born in 1952 and studied at the Glasgow School of Art. Her work is driven by an interest in the past, and in how we are affected by the traces and symbols it has left behind.

 

Her work is help in the permanent collection of the Tate Gallery and in 1990 she represented Great Britain at the Venice Biennale as part of Three Scottish Sculptors along with David Mach and Arthur Watson.
